At Solid Binnendeuren, sustainability is a top priority. It starts with a sustainable way of thinking in the office, from switching to cardboard packaging to using solar panels and electric (delivery) vehicles. We also strive for the most sustainable production possible and continuously optimize our sustainable supply chains, from forest to door.
Our goal is to equip all our wooden interior doors with FSC® certification. FSC® stands for Forest Stewardship Council, an international non-profit organization promoting sustainable forest management worldwide. Currently, most of our wooden doors are already certified, but we are working hard behind the scenes to obtain FSC® certification for our full range.

PEFC — what’s in a name? PEFC stands for Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification. Like FSC®, the PEFC certificate guarantees that our wooden interior doors are made from quality wood sourced from sustainably managed forests. Soon, there will be no doubt: our wooden doors will be 100% FSC® and/or PEFC approved, becoming an essential, sustainable link in the construction sector.

Solid closely monitors developments around EUDR. The upcoming European Union Deforestation Regulation requires companies to demonstrate that their products do not contribute to deforestation. Thanks to smarter material choices and sustainable supply chains, we ensure that our doors meet the strictest standards while contributing to a more sustainable industry.
Solid Binnendeuren takes care of everything — sustainability included.
