Can I buy a door as a private customer from Solid?

Solid only sells to B2B companies in our sector, not private customers. You can of course contact us if you’re interested in our interior doors. We’ll gladly refer you to our partners who sell Solid doors to private customers.

Can I buy interior doors and have them installed by Solid?

Solid International is a manufacturer and distributor of doors. This means we do not provide installation services.

Can I order a door on-site and take it with me immediately?

For logistical reasons, this is practically not feasible. You will receive an email once your doors are ready for pickup at Solid Bruges. Expect approximately 36 hours after receiving your order confirmation for stock doors.

Can I order a custom door?

Customization is possible for many of our references. Contact us to discuss the possibilities together.

Can I buy individual elements – like handles or a sliding door system – without buying a door?

Absolutely. In our More range, you’ll find many door accessories – from hardware to door stops – that you can purchase separately. You’ll also find accessories at the end of each catalog that can be bought without a door.

How many handles do I get when ordering one “handle” reference?

At Solid, you always receive a set of handles, meaning for both sides of a door.

Does Solid International offer free shipping (franco) for transport?

Yes, we operate with a franco amount for transport costs. Contact our backoffice for more information.

What is the average delivery time for Solid doors?

We make a distinction between stock doors and custom doors. For stock doors, expect 5 working days; for custom doors, delivery is within an acceptable timeframe.

Does Solid sell sustainable doors with FSC® or PEFC certification?

At Solid International, sustainability is very important. That’s why we aim to certify all our wooden doors with FSC® and/or PEFC. Read more about our sustainability policy here.

Are Solid’s wooden interior doors compliant with the new formaldehyde regulations?

Yes. As of 6 August 2026, all our interior doors will comply with a maximum formaldehyde emission of 0.062 mg/m³. Click here for more information.

I ordered the wrong door. Can I return it?

We distinguish between stock doors and custom doors. If you received the wrong standard door, you can notify us via info@solidintl.com<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> . Custom doors cannot be returned, as they were made specifically for you and cannot be resold.

Do I have a warranty when buying a Solid door?

Purchasing a door from Solid NV gives you the statutory 2-year warranty.

Help, my door was delivered damaged. What now?

We always take precautions to pack our doors as well as possible. If damage occurs, it’s important to inform us immediately at info@solidintl.com<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> . Be sure to include photos of the damage so we have all the information needed to take action.
