As the founder of Solid, I would like to make an important announcement.

After eight years of exceptional commitment and dedication as General Manager, Thomas Gheyle has decided to take on a new challenge at a non-competing company. Thomas will remain with us until 30 March 2026 to ensure a smooth transition. I would like to sincerely thank Thomas for his outstanding work and loyalty. We wish him every success in the next step of his career. He will be greatly missed, and we hope he will one day return to his Solid home.

His departure marks the beginning of a new chapter for Solid. I will once again assume the role of General Manager. The timing is particularly favourable, as Solid is on the verge of a strong growth phase.

We are proud to announce a major investment in a new 15,000 m² company building in the port of Ostend. This strategic expansion will significantly enhance our operational capacity and provide space for a production service centre, new offices and advanced automation. In July 2026, we will move from our current facilities in Bruges to this new site, allowing us to further optimise our processes and support our customers even better.

In addition, we have decided to strengthen our management team: Guillaume de Potter and Thomas Deputter will take on increased responsibilities and join the management. Their expertise and energy will play an important role in shaping our future.

Solid is ready for the future: stronger, more agile and ready to reach new milestones.
