These trapezoid-shaped architraves are made of engineered wood (EW). This material consists of real wood, though not necessarily from the same species. By combining non-tropical raw materials with modern production techniques, a durable and environmentally friendly alternative to solid wood is created.

During production, poplar logs are peeled, dried, and dyed. They are then stacked, treated under pressure with a soluble dye, glued, and compressed into a block. Stable, defect-free architraves are then milled from this block.

Engineered wood provides clear advantages: color stability, fixed lengths, and far less prone to warping, twisting, or shrinking than solid wood. Additionally, the architraves are completely defect-free and ready to use immediately.

The architraves are supplied in sets of five and neatly packaged in shrink wrap.
