These pre-painted softwood architraves are perfectly compatible with Solid’s Eclipse interior doors. A set contains five trapezoid-shaped wooden architraves, covering approximately 11.25 meters. These architraves are pre-painted and can be finished in the color of your choice. They can also be cut to size.

The architraves are made from laminated veneer lumber (LVL) and are supplied pre-painted by default. You can choose either a trapezoid or straight design. The architraves are shrink-wrapped and available individually or in sets of five.

LVL is a technical wood product made by pressing multiple layers of veneer together with glue. This material is often used in construction for beams and supports, but its stability makes it ideal for interior joinery as well.

Compared to solid wood, LVL offers clear advantages: it is stronger, more consistent, and less prone to warping, bending, or shrinking. Unlike plywood, where the veneer layers are cross-laid, LVL layers are always glued in the same direction, providing extra strength and reliability.

If you wish to combine your Eclipse interior doors with architraves, take into account the thickness of the door frame, which is 27 mm. The frame is adjusted to the width of the wall.
