At Solid Binnendeuren, we offer pre-painted straight hardwood battens, with or without RS01 rubber sealing, as well as oak veneer battens.

Our pre-painted battens are made from Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL), combining durability and structural stability.

LVL is a technical wood product created by gluing multiple thin veneer layers in the same grain direction.

This makes the material exceptionally strong, stable, and reliable for structural applications such as beams, load-bearing lintels, and edge reinforcement.

Unlike plywood – where layers are stacked crosswise – in LVL all veneer layers are aligned in the same direction, making it less prone to deformation like warping, twisting, or expanding, and a durable alternative to solid wood in demanding constructions.

Our FSC-certified oak veneer LVL battens are finished with oak veneer and have a density of 680 kg/m³.

The straight battens feature a fine oak grain, offering excellent durability and moisture resistance.
